Battery-backed AC for essential loads
A commercial inverter is a scaled-up version of the inverter many premises already run.
- Converts battery DC to AC to keep essential loads — lighting, fans, points of sale, small IT — running through an outage.
- Bought for low running cost and a low purchase price, typically for shops, clinics, offices and branches with frequent but short outages.
- Usually offers little or no input conditioning, limited overload capability and a short transfer gap on the change to battery.

Enterprise Classic in ECO mode
COMPACT does not sell a standalone commercial inverter. Enterprise Classic covers the same use case: in ECO mode it runs at close to an inverter's efficiency, and the moment the supply misbehaves it becomes a full online UPS again.
- Runs in a high-efficiency ECO mode where the site permits — the healthy mains feeds the load through the static bypass, so day-to-day running cost is close to a commercial inverter's.
- Transfers to full online double conversion in 0 ms on any disturbance — the load always ends up on conditioned, regulated power.
- Output isolation and true sine-wave output protect sensitive three-phase equipment, not just lights and fans.
- Generator-compatible, with intelligent battery charging and management and adjustable charging current.

ECO mode is enabled where the site's supply quality allows it. Where it does not, the system simply stays in online double conversion — the protection is never the thing that is traded away.
