There is an endless debate on whether transformer-less high frequency topology is the best solution or a low-frequency transformer based solution is the best. Our understanding and conclusion is if your application and load involves industrial load – then it makes better sense to compromise on the efficiency and choose pure transformer based topology. Beware – there are products available with an add-on transformer to a high-frequency topology and calling the same as transformer based UPS.

COMPACT ENTERPRISE CLASSIC is a pure transformer based design with controlled rectifier (the inverter receives conditioned regulated DC power irrespective of the input fluctuations for higher reliability). The inversion is done through transformer offering higher reliability with isolation in the output.
